Hokke Hotel, a well-known hotel located within the Lumbini Masterplan area, built in the
early 1970’s is to be renovated to meet present-day requirements- fully utilizing its location
and the large parcel of land.
Inspired by the Lumbini Masterplan by Kenjo Tange, the new hotel planning is also based on
a Buddhist Mandala. The renovated hotel attempts at depicting the architectural vocabulary
of Lumbini Masterplan, consists of 51 rooms, spa, meditational halls, pods, and Zen gardens.
